Project Overview:
The project is located in Section 1 of the first phase of the Altay Road Elevation Project (north of Henan Road-Qingcheng Lane intersection). It is a key urban construction project in 2015. The route length of the first phase of the project is 7.4 kilometers, and the length of the new elevated road is 5.7 kilometers.The newly built viaduct is two-way four lanes, with a bridge deck width of about 20m, a single bridge deck plate of 1m wide, 8cm thick reinforced concrete and a strength of C40.
The bridge deck is fully hairy on the concrete surface layer before making the waterproof layer, and finally the mixture of asphalt concrete and asphalt horse hoof fat gravel is poured on the waterproof layer.The original waterproof material is PB fiber reinforced polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating. Due to the large wind in Xinjiang and the large temperature difference between day and night, there may be insufficient maintenance in the construction, resulting in the concrete interior is not dense, and the surface is prone to turtle-like cracks.
The construction process of original PB fiber reinforced polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating is complex, with high requirements on construction equipment and great impact on the environment, and the waterproof layer is easy to be damaged by high temperature asphalt pavement. Therefore, Jiushi is finally chosen instead replace polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating.

construction procedure:
The first time sprinkling water wetting the base surface the first time (150ml / m2) the second time (100ml / m2) the third time sprinkling film maintenance for 3 days

Effect evaluation:
After 7 days, the closed water test was done and completely passed through. Up to traffic, the operation is good, especially the position of the post-pouring belt, spraying other traditional materials has leaked, while the post-pouring belt of spraying has not had leakage, and the waterproof effect is good.
