PM-1

PM-1 organic inorganic hybrid heavy anticorrosive coating is a new type of material obtained by crosslinking of modified polymer resin and inorganic silicate solution. It has the advantages of strong chemical resistance and stability of silicate and good mechanical and mechanical properties of resin and forms a dense protective layer, which can resist strong acid, strong alkali, high salt and most chemical corrosion for a long time. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, flame retardant and does not require primer. Can be brushed/roller coated/sprayed on carbon steel, stainless steel, concrete and other substrates, the construction period is short, widely used in Marine engineering, energy engineering, large industrial enterprises, transportation industry and municipal facilities heavy anticorrosion applications.

Reference dosage

Metal substrate: reference thickness ≥ 0.5mm, coating rate ≥ 0.6kg/㎡;

Concrete substrate: reference thickness ≥ 0.5mm, coating rate ≥ 0.7kg/㎡;

Note: Based on on-site construction experience, due to the different surface treatment conditions of the substrate, the actual construction area is larger than the calculated area, and the construction workers need to be trained and mastered on the characteristics of PM-1 materials, the above theoretical amount must be multiplied by (1.2~1.4) times as the actual reference amount.

Features

1. A new material system obtained by the cross-linking reaction of organic resin and inorganic silicate, which is suitable for a variety of substrates such as concrete and metal, has the advantages of high solid content, strong adhesion, high hardness but good ductility and impact resistance, resistance to high temperature, low temperature, damp heat and high and low temperature alternation, good wear resistance and excellent anti-seepage performance;

2. It can resist corrosion from strong acid, strong alkali, high salt, various oils, organic solvents and most chemicals for a long time;

3. Non-hazardous chemicals, environmentally friendly, non-toxic, solvent-free, heavy metal-free, carcinogen-free, flame-retardant;

4. Convenient construction, curing at room temperature, no primer required, can be sprayed, rolled or brushed on a variety of substrates such as metal and concrete;

5. Wide range of application fields and industries.

Scope of application

Applicable industries: chemical industry, environmental protection industry, smelting industry, petroleum industry, electronics industry, electric power industry, food industry, marine engineering, etc.

PM-1 heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating can be used in the heavy-duty anti-corrosion fields of drilling platforms, fixed production platforms, submarine systems, coastal structures, oil and gas extraction, oil and gas storage, petroleum refining, power transmission and transformation equipment, thermal power generation, hydropower generation, garbage power generation, nuclear power, offshore wind power, papermaking, printing and dyeing, electronics, medicine, food, salt making, chlor-alkali, seawater desalination, smelting, petrochemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, chemicals, industrial waste treatment, boats, containers, bridges, tunnels, trains and rail facilities, highways, automobiles, airport facilities, municipal gas pipelines and facilities, biochemical waste treatment facilities, drinking water facilities, municipal sewage treatment facilities and other industries, providing better surface protection solutions.

Construction process

1. This product is a two-component product, which is packaged separately. The product ratio is weight ratio: component A: component B = 3:2. When using, it should be mixed at one time according to the specified ratio. Once mixed, it must be used within 40 minutes. Do not mix too much material that exceeds the estimated amount of use at one time;

2. Before mixing the product, use an electric tool to stir component A evenly. If stratification occurs after a long period of standing, it is normal. Just stir it evenly with an electric tool.

3. Pour component A into a suitable clean cylindrical container and use a dispersed disc stirring head to stir component A at high speed (not less than 500 rpm) for 4 minutes;

4. Keep stirring at high speed and slowly add component B in batches while stirring. After mixing, stir at high speed for 5 minutes to form a uniform mixture;

5. Painting should be carried out immediately after mixing is completed.

Precautions

1. For large-area coating, spraying is recommended. When using a single-component sprayer for continuous operation, stop the operation when the equipment needs to be cleaned. When the nozzle flow rate is 1.7L/min, the reference spraying time is 10kg/1 group ≈ 10 minutes. Please estimate the continuous operation time of single-shift spraying, which must be less than the product curing time (the cleaning liquid is an ester liquid, such as ethyl acetate);

2. When applying by hand, the reference amount for each mixing shall not exceed 2kg/person;

3. Please mix the materials strictly according to the weight ratio and do not add diluent;

4. It is recommended to use a dispersed disc stirring head;

5. When the total weight of two components of materials mixed at a time is less than 5kg, the power of the mixer is recommended to be greater than 1KW. When the total weight of a single mixing is greater than 5kg, the power of the mixer is recommended to be greater than 1.5KW. Except for professional mixing equipment, the total weight of manual single mixing is not recommended to exceed 10kg;

6. Construction temperature: 8℃~35℃, optimal construction temperature: 15℃~24℃, air humidity: <85%;

7. The substrate temperature is 3°C higher than the dew point temperature;

8. Avoid construction in direct sunlight, strong wind, fog, dust, rain or snow;

9. Places with high temperature and humidity (such as confined spaces) must be ventilated with ventilation devices to reduce the relative humidity of the working area;

10. In hot summer weather, it is recommended to start construction before 9 am/after 18 pm;

11. If multiple coats are applied, the interval between coats at room temperature (20-25°C) should be about 12 hours depending on the ambient temperature;

12. If construction is carried out in winter and the ambient temperature is below 10°C, auxiliary heating can be used to speed up the curing of materials.

Shelf life

The storage environment should be dry, cool, well-ventilated, away from heat and fire sources. The packaging container must be kept well sealed and handled with care. The storage environment temperature is: 8℃~30℃.

The shelf life under the above storage conditions is 12 months for component A and 24 months for component B. Do not use expired products.
