Structure Self-waterproof

Structure Self-waterproof

Guardex structure self-waterproof series is able to improve compactness, permeation resistance and corrosion resistance of concrete effectively through increasing 2 to 3 times of self-healing capacity of concrete, and features several compound functions such as "density increasing, waterproof, damp-proof, crack self-healing, anticorrosive, salt control and freeze thawing resistant". Combining with spraying modifier on the surface, it forms a self-waterproof system that is independent from the external waterproof layer to make waterproof more reliable and structure safer, prolonging service life of a building by 1 to 2 times.

·Application Fields

Its application field includes but not limited to underground engineering (tunnel, culvert, subway, pipe rack, etc.), water conservancy engineering (dam, reservoir, port, channel, etc.) and various concrete industry and civil buildings (bridge, railway, road, power station, nuclear power station, cooling tower, water plant and tank, etc.)
·Guardex Structure Self-waterproof System

Concrete is a solid and porous material and its structure will crack at different application stages to further cause moisture and other harmful factors to permeate in concrete through opening, tiny crack and pore.

Permeated moisture and harmful factor will bring plenty of issues to concrete, cause concrete structure damage and internal rebar corrosion at last and affect concrete strength, durability and service life seriously.

Guardex structure self-waterproof series can simulate regeneration and recovery mechanism of animal tissue after injury. After encountering water, active chemicals added to concrete generate acicular crystal that is insoluble in water to block pore and permeate channel and integrate with original concrete to form waterproof barrier.
