Case developments | The northern district of Weihai City Complex, which Jiagushi participated in the construction, has completed the construction of the main framework!


Weihai City complex project is located in the old Weihai Port and its surrounding areas, is the core area of the central urban coastline, since the project planning, has been widely concerned by the community. The planned total land area and gross floor area of the project are about 118,000 square meters. Among them, the above-ground part has a total of 3 floors, and the underground part has 2 floors. The above-ground section has a floor area of about 33,000 square meters, while the underground section has a floor area of about 85,000 square meters. The project will build commercial complex, underground parking lot, digital aquarium, shopping and leisure area, catering and entertainment business district, outdoor landscape and large playground and other facilities, aiming to create an urban complex integrating multiple functions.


In the north part of the project, the construction of the main frame has been completed, and the interior decoration and electromechanical installation work is being carried out. In the southern district, all pile foundation construction has been completed and foundation groove cleaning and cushion pouring are under way. After the cold air, the south area will immediately start waterproof construction. Due to the very tight construction period of the project, the project has invested a lot of human resources, it is expected that in the main construction phase in May and June, there will be 2,000 workers on the site to work in shifts to ensure that the project can be completed on time.


According to the special geographical environment of the project and the needs of the use of the sea, the project has adopted a variety of new technologies. Jiahusi self-healing waterproof material is used in the outer structure of the basement of Weihai City Complex, which greatly improves the self-waterproofing effect of the structure and ensures the long-term stable operation of the project.


As a technology with many years of practical application experience in the world, there are already a variety of products of the same type at home and abroad, but different from other products, the self-healing technology can heal wider cracks, but also can fully empower the performance of concrete, which can be seen under the observation of electron microscope. Cocos self-healing waterproofing materials produce denser crystals inside the concrete that exceed those of similar products.


Self-healing concrete technology for life-cycle waterproofing and structural protection.

At the beginning of the development of the self-healing waterproofing technology, the problem of how to improve the performance of concrete for a longer period of time was considered. Concrete buildings in the whole life cycle, will continue to face the impact of the environment, weather, human behavior, structural performance, in addition to water, but also face various types of corrosive substances.


How to achieve life-cycle waterproof and structural protection of concrete?

The core technical team, composed of professors and doctors from Tsinghua University, spent many years to develop Jiagush self-healing waterproof system, relying on four advantages to make concrete more "strong"!

1. When incorporated into the concrete, the self-healing waterproof material will completely become a part of the concrete, and the crystallization process will all occur inside the concrete, which will not bring other negative effects to the structure.

2. It can comprehensively improve the compressive strength, flexural strength, carbonization resistance, impermeability, salt-freeze resistance, early cracking resistance, chloride ion permeability resistance, crack self-repair, secondary impermeability recovery and other properties of concrete.

3. The construction is simple and can coexist with traditional waterproof materials.

4. Wider range of adaptation, can maintain performance in harsh and complex environments.
